A Guide To The Rich Boys Of Burberry Prep Series By C.M. Stunich
It’s not always the ending that’s the most important. Sometimes, the journey to get there is just as good.
— In The Arms Of The Elite, Book 4
What’s It About?
The Rich Boys Of Burberry Prep is a 4-book dark high school romance series written by C.M. Stunich.
It follows Marnye Reed as she gains the opportunity of a lifetime by winning a scholarship to an elite prep school — a scholarship she worked really hard for. This is a bully romance series so, if you’re not familiar with those, let’s just say that Marnye is not well received at Burberry Prep. The Queen Bee and King of the school are determined to make her leave — each for their own reasons — but Marnye is a fighter.
Each book covers a year at Burberry Prep — and let me tell you, SO MUCH happens. Marnye is a strong AF female character who holds her own and also happens to end up claiming the hearts of the 5 guys who have both hurt and healed her [well except Windsor — he’s all good in my book].
So, if you like a good bully romance and you love a good reverse harem where the characters don’t all fall in love ASAP Rocky, then I definitely recommend you give this series a read.
The full series is available on Kindle Unlimited. You can find it in my Amazon Shop here, or you can click the images below to go to each book.
Tropes Include: dark romance, high school romance, bully romance, secret society, reverse harem/why choose, happy ending, and more.
The Setting
The Rich Boys Of Burberry Prep series takes place in the fictional town in California. The school sports classic architecture but modernized interiors where it counts. It is an elite school where only the wealthiest of the wealthy attend.
The Main Characters
While there are many characters in this book series, there are 6 that the books center around: Marnye, Tristan, Zayd, Creed, Zack, and Windsor.
The Side Characters
While there are many characters in this book series, there are a few side characters that you’ll find make a big enough impression. They include Miranda, Andrew, Lizzie, Harper, and Isabella.
My Rating For The Whole Series
★★★★★ — 5/5 Stars
I really loved this series. I’m a sucker for a good bully romance and this one did not disappoint.
Each of the four books covers a year at Burberry Prep for Marnye, and just when you think things will get easier for her, they don’t. This is not one of those reverse harem series where the guys fall in love and everything is soft and sweet. Nope. Not at all. Four out of the five guys bully her multiple times in such cruel ways. They all take their time falling in love with her and she with them. All except for Windsor — he’s a whole different beast and had Marnye’s back from the moment he met her.
Marnye, the main character in this book is strong AF. She is resilient and gives back 10x harder what they throw at her. She proves herself to be the true Queen of the school, and one that has a heart full of compassion at that. But don’t get it twisted, everyone that wronged her has their day with karma and oh did I enjoy watching them all fall.
This was a fun series to read that gave a bit of a tug on your emotions yet wasn’t harsh enough to rip your heart out. The spice was good, the angst even better, and the bullying top-notch.

Book One: Filthy Rich Boys
My Personal Rating — ★★★★★ — 5/5 Stars
Filthy Rich Boys is the book to kick things off in the Burberry Prep series. We get introduced to most of the characters [minus a few here and there that pop up later], and most importantly, we meet Marnye, the main character this whole book truly centers around.
Marnye is new at Burberry Prep via a scholarship and she is NOT well received. But, being the strong girl she is, Marnye fights back. What she doesn’t realize is that all is going according to plan — and not one that she is privy to.
This book does end on a cliffhanger and it’s one that tore my heart in two — damn bully romances. Just when Marnye thinks things are on the upturn, everything comes crashing down around her. As soon as I read the last page I immediately downloaded book two.
I give this book 5/5 stars. It’s book 1 in a 4-book series, full of spice and angst and is available on Kindle Unlimited. You can get book one in the Rich Boys Of Burberry Prep series here.
Book Two: Bad, Bad Bluebloods
My Personal Rating — ★★★★★ — 5/5 Stars
After being both heartbroken and humiliated, Marnye comes back to Burberry Prep with a plan of her own: to take down those who tried her. None of the guys are really expecting her. They thought they broke her. Let’s just say, they thought wrong. And while the Queen Bee continues to throw everything she can at Marnye, Marnye gives it back to her over and over again.
This is the book where you start to see the guys fall just a little bit for Marnye. Not every single one — there’s definitely some stubborn ones — but you do see it, bit by bit. And Marnye, careful of her heart, makes them work for it.
I enjoyed this book a lot, I think mostly for two reasons. One, I wanted to see Marnye’s plan come to life. She was wronged and embarrassed. I know I probably would’ve tucked tail and run, but she didn’t. And not only did she make them all pay bit by bit, but she gained her own alliances as well. Secondly, the romance. I’m always here for a good love story and this book does not disappoint. From the groveling to the slow descent into love, I enjoyed every moment.
This book gets a 5/5 from me. It’s available on Kindle Unlimited [and Amazon in general] — you can get it in my Amazon Shop here.
Book Three: The Envy Of Idols
My Personal Rating — ★★★★★ — 5/5 Stars
The Envy Of Idols is the third book in the Burberry Prep series and this is where things really start to get interesting. This book is unlike any reverse harem I’ve read in the past. Usually, the guys don’t mind sharing. In this case, they do. Marnye is still very much making them [minus Windsor] grovel, and in doing so she proposes a plan: they all have to date her and then she’ll choose one when they graduate. That’s the deal.
Like I said, this was a totally different take on a reverse harem for me but I loved it. Each guy had to get to know her, had to deal with the envy they felt when she was with another, and all of them had to take her on dates. The romance girl in me loved this. It also felt quite realistic, seeing the guys battle with their own feelings. And don’t get me started on Tristan. That man is stubborn as I don’t know what.
But, while all of this dating is happening, Marnye is still acting out her plan of revenge, and it is coming together sweetly. There are still things crashing down around her but she takes it all in stride. I really really enjoyed her as a main character. Her strength and resiliency were top notch.
This book gets a 5/5 from me. It’s available on Kindle Unlimited [and Amazon in general] — you can get it in my Amazon Shop here.
Book Four: In The Arms Of The Elite
My Personal Rating — ★★★★★ — 5/5 Stars
In The Arms Of The Elite is the last book in this series [well, technically there’s a fifth, but it requires you to read another series first for it to make sense]. Everything gets wrapped up in a neat little bow with this book.
Tristan. Man oh man. The most stubborn character in this series, but his holdout was worth it. To see the inner workings of his mind and how much he just wanted to be chosen. Heart. Tugged.
In the third book Marnye proposes that all the guys date her, with the end goal being her choosing one. Let’s just say by the end things don’t exactly go according to plan, but in a good way. And while Marnye still faces a lot of drama through this book, there is also a whole silver lining. She does get her happy ending of sorts, even if things aren’t perfect.
This book gets a 5/5 from me. I’m not even going to lie, the scenes with Tristan really tugged on me. While I do love all the guys in this series, he was the one I was riding for the whole time. And his confessions? Swoon.
This is the final book in the 4-book series and it is available on Kindle Unlimited [and Amazon in general] — you can get it in my Amazon Shop here.
