A Guide To The Book Of Cin By H.M. Wolfe
"If you believe in the gods, pray now. Their protection ends here."
— The Book Of Cin
What’s It About?
The Book Of Cin is a high fantasy tale of love, loss, and the enduring power of friendship. It’s an epic adventure where courage meets destiny — and magic, sacrifice, and hope are the threads that bind. It is written by a newly released author, H. M. Wolfe.
At Asrai’s Academy for Orphans, Hyacinth stands at a crossroads. Torn between the safety of the only home she has ever known and leaving it all behind for a chance at a new life — for freedom. But when a mysterious messenger appears, whispering rumors of a God among Fae, everything Hyacinth thought she knew about the Realms comes crashing down.
Thrust into a deadly game of power and greed, Hyacinth discovers dormant magic within her that may hold the key to survival—or mark her for death. With her friends beside her, Hyacinth must navigate through murderous realms of vicious creatures, lethal betrayals and prophecies of old.
Secrets unravel, bonds are tested, and romance decays and blossoms amidst the looming promise of war. As alliances shift and enemies close in, her only hope lies in reaching the fabled safe haven of Locdragoon—but reaching it may cost her everything she loves.

My Rating For The Book Of Cin
★★★★★ — 5/5 Stars
This book. I literally waited for it to come out and devoured it in hours. This is H.M. Wolfe’s debut book and she absolutely knocked it out of the park — and this is coming from someone who typically has a hard time getting into fantasy books. The world building was amazing and the characters had so much depth.
I really love how the story centers around Cin [Hyacinth] and her issues with self-esteem. She starts out the book in a relationship where her boyfriend just doesn’t treat her the best. He has the highest standards and often talks down to her, making her appear weak. She had no idea how powerful she was. It wasn’t until she was placed in a situation where she had to use her power that she began to touch the tip of the iceberg. And then when she meets Landers [SWOON] — he is a man who completely opens her up to just how strong she is. Rather than step on her toes and box her in, he pushes her to make her own decisions, no matter how much he might be scared for her safety. Her story was something I’m sure many of us can relate to — I know I could…so much so that I feel like it healed the younger version of me just through the words on the page.
The journey itself is epic, taking you through all of the realms in this world. They face different beings and people with evil intentions. They learn how to love and trust each other. They are constantly tested. So much happens and yet the book did not drag on. I commend H.M. Wolfe for putting so much into a 500 page book without dragging things out but also without overwhelming you. I don’t know how she did it, but she did. Highly recommend you give this one a read.
I give it 5/5 stars. It is available on Kindle Unlimited. You can get The Book Of Cin here.
