Tools You’ll Need

Here are the tools you’ll need:

  • An espresso glass

  • Your favorite mug

  • Milk frothing pitcher

  • A coffee grinder

  • A tablespoon

  • A milk frother

  • A spoon for stirring

My Favorite Coffee Essentials

Ingredients

  • Espresso beans — or pre-ground espresso/coffee of choice — [enough to make a double shot] OR you can use pre-made espresso or even fresh brewed coffee; in that case, you’ll just need to adjust the amount of coffee depending on what you’re using.

  • 1 tablespoon of pumpkin puree [I tend to use canned pumpkin since it’s quick and easy]

  • A shake or two of pumpkin pie seasoning

  • 6 ounces of oat milk [or your milk of choice]

  • Sugar or sweetener, to taste

  • A shake of cinnamon or a splash of whipped cream on top [optional]

The Steps

  1. Grab your mug of choice and add your sweetener of choice. I personally prefer sugar and typically do about 10-12 grams or 3 spoons [I love a good, sweet cup of coffee, but not too sweet]. Also be sure to add your tablespoon of pumpkin puree.

  2. Grab your espresso beans [or pre-ground coffee/espresso if you so choose]. Dole out enough to make a double shot and then add it to your coffee grinder. Then proceed to make your espresso shot and add it to your mug. If you’re using pre-made espresso or brewed coffee, then simply add that straight to your mug.

  3. Use a spoon or a milk frother to mix the coffee with your sugar [or sweetener of choice] and your pumpkin puree.

  4. Pour out your 6 ounce of oat milk into your milk frothing cup and steam the milk. My espresso machine [listed above or you can click here for it] has a steamer attached. It’s a game changer and has forever changed how I drink and make coffee.

  5. Once your milk is steamed, add it to your mug and give it a stir. Top with some cinnamon or whipped cream and you’re good to go.

  6. That’s it! Enjoy your Pumpkin Spice Espresso Latte.

If you find that the taste of pumpkin is too strong or too weak for your preference, simply adjust by adding in or removing some pumpkin. You can also offset this by adding more milk.
