Peach Whiskey Iced Tea

  • A pitcher

  • A pot

  • A cutting board

  • A sharp knife

  • Measuring cups

  • Glasses to serve in

Ingredients

For The Tea

  • 8 cups of boiling water

  • 7 black tea bags

  • 1 1/2 cups of whiskey

For The Peach Syrup

  • 2 fresh peaches, diced

  • 1 cup of sugar

  • 1 cup of water

  • 1 lemon, juiced

For Your Garnish

  • 1 fresh peach, sliced

  • 1 lemon, sliced

  • Fresh mint

The Steps

  1. In a large pitcher, pour hot water over your tea bags and let them steep for at least 5 minutes.

  2. Bring your syrup ingredients to a boil, then reduce the heat to medium and let it simmer until you get a slight pink color.

  3. Strain the syrup through a fine strainer to remove the fruit pieces.

  4. Add syrup and whiskey to the tea, then chill until ready to serve.

  5. Serve over ice with sliced peaches, sliced lemon, and/or a mint sprig.
