Peach Whiskey Iced Tea

A pitcher
A pot
A cutting board
A sharp knife
Measuring cups
Glasses to serve in
Ingredients
For The Tea
8 cups of boiling water
7 black tea bags
1 1/2 cups of whiskey
For The Peach Syrup
2 fresh peaches, diced
1 cup of sugar
1 cup of water
1 lemon, juiced
For Your Garnish
1 fresh peach, sliced
1 lemon, sliced
Fresh mint
The Steps
In a large pitcher, pour hot water over your tea bags and let them steep for at least 5 minutes.
Bring your syrup ingredients to a boil, then reduce the heat to medium and let it simmer until you get a slight pink color.
Strain the syrup through a fine strainer to remove the fruit pieces.
Add syrup and whiskey to the tea, then chill until ready to serve.
Serve over ice with sliced peaches, sliced lemon, and/or a mint sprig.
